Create React App : Range error - Maximum call stack size exceeded

I get this error when trying to create a new react app. Tried updating create-react-app using npm and reinstalling React.

Fixed this issue by disabling Windows Defender - Controlled Folder Access.

npx create-react-app my-app --- > npm ERR! Maximum call stack , I'm trying to create new React application with npx create-react-app, but I get the following error Maximum call stack size exceeded #5328. Closed 3657 verbose stack RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded. The infinite loop happends because you call this.addNums() in the componentDidUpdate lifecycle function.addNums sets the state which causes a componentUpdate and hence ComponentDidUpdate is called again and hence the loop continues.

I faced a similar issue today and fixed with running: $ npm logout

create-react-app RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceededat , I find the solution to my problem. my problem was I tried to creating new react app using npm create-react-app app-name in CMD . If I try to  I have Linux with node - 12.4.0, npm - 6.9.0, npx - 6.9.0. I ran command npx create-react-app cra And getting following result: Installing packages. This might take a couple of minutes.

Disabling Controlled Folder access helped

Create React App : Range error, Fixed this issue by disabling Windows Defender - Controlled Folder Access. Maximum call stack size exceeded #5328. but I get the following error: Uninstall node, npm, create-react-app and back install and dit it not work

Fixed this issue by using Windows Subsystem Linux. BTW, my Windows Defender is controlled by my organization policies.
