I am using array.filter to filter the following array

let array =   [[75, -5750, 115],
 [76, -5750, 115],
 [93, -5750, 115],
 [94, -5750, 115],
 [95, -5750, 115],
 [96, -5750, 115],
 [97, -5750, 115],
 [98, -5750, 115],
 [99, -5750, 115]]

var lucky = array.filter(a=>a[0]>75); //this works
console.log(lucky);

I want to achieve something like

var lucky = array.filter(a=>98>a[0]>75); //apply two condition //it returns whole array in this case

How to achieve this ???

Seems like what you want is the logical and operator. Something like this:

array.filter(a => 98 > a[0] && a[0] > 75);

Javascript multiple condition array filter, // You wrote that it's an array, so changed the braces var filtercondition = ["p", {acct1:true,acct2:false,acct3:true} "2016-06-01", "2016-11-30",  I need some help with a filter on a spreadsheet. I want to filter out all projects where the phase is either empty or closed.

Just use && to only return true if 2 conditions are met

let array = [
  [75, -5750, 115],
  [76, -5750, 115],
  [93, -5750, 115],
  [94, -5750, 115],
  [95, -5750, 115],
  [96, -5750, 115],
  [97, -5750, 115],
  [98, -5750, 115],
  [99, -5750, 115]
]

var lucky = array.filter(a => a[0] > 75 && a[0] < 98);
console.log(lucky);

Suppose you have an array of city objects where each object contains two properties: name and population .

**You need to use logical operator to combine two conditions

When you want all the conditions to be must than you use & AND operator.

When you want consitons to be optional than you use | OR operator.

let array =   [[75, -5750, 115],
 [76, -5750, 115],
 [93, -5750, 115],

JavaScript Array Filter: Filtering Array Elements Based on a Test , This tutorial shows you how to use the JavaScript array filter method to filter elements in an array based on a specified condition. For a list of PowerShell providers, type help about_providers in any PowerShell console. It's always a good idea to use provider-specific filters as much as possible. Since the filtering is closer to the source and this method doesn’t have to send the objects over the PowerShell pipeline, performance is much faster.

  • You can't combine the test like this in javascript; it needs to be separate: 98 > a[0] && a[0] > 75
  • yup thanks it worked :)
