I've just started learning JavaScript. I have to create the multiplication table of 7 , I tried this code:

const nombre = 7;

for (let i = 1; i <= 10; i++) {
 console.log( i x nombre = i * nombre);

You can use this code also without Template Literals

var nombre = 7;
for(var i = 1; i < 11; i++){
    total = i * nombre;
    console.log(i + ' x ' + nombre + ' = ' + total);

while, There are mainly four types of loops in JavaScript. for loop; for/in a loop (explained later); while loop; do…while loop. for loop. Syntax:. Loops: while and for. We often need to repeat actions. For example, outputting goods from a list one after another or just running the same code for each number from 1 to 10. Loops are a way to repeat the same code multiple times.

You can use Template Literals: As from Docs:

Template literals are string literals allowing embedded expressions.

const number = 7;
for (let i = 1; i <= 10; i++) {
  console.log(`${i} x ${number} = ${i * number}`);
.as-console-wrapper { max-height: 100% !important; top: 0; }

Loops: while and for, The while Loop. The most basic loop in JavaScript is the while loop which would be discussed in this chapter. The purpose of a while loop is to execute a  Comparing For and While. If you have read the previous chapter, about the for loop, you will discover that a while loop is much the same as a for loop, with statement 1 and statement 3 omitted. The loop in this example uses a for loop to collect the car names from the cars array:

You can use template literal

const nombre = 7;

for (let i = 1; i <= 10; i++) {
 console.log( `${i} x ${nombre} = ${i * nombre}`);

For, While and Do While LOOP in JavaScript (with Example), This tutorial shows you how to use the JavaScript while loop statement to create a loop that executes a block of code as long as a condition is true. JavaScript supports different kinds of loops: for - loops through a block of code a number of times; for/in - loops through the properties of an object; for/of - loops through the values of an iterable object; while - loops through a block of code while a specified condition is true

Using while() method you can create a function and pass the number of times you want the multiplication to occur, in your example 10.

const nombre = 7

const results = num => {
    let count = 0;
    while (num >= count) {
        console.log(count*7); // 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77

JavaScript - While Loops, This is the simplest looping statement provided by JavaScript. The while loop loops through a block of code as long as the specified condition evaluates to true. JavaScript provides both entries controlled (for, while) and exit controlled (do..while) loops. We use For Loop when a certain logic needs to execute a certain number of times along with a condition. For..In and For..Of loop is used when a logic needs to be iterated based on the count of elements are present in the collection object.

JavaScript while Loop By Examples, JavaScript includes another flavour of while loop, that is do-while loop. The do-while loop is similar to while loop the only difference is it evaluates condition  The while Loop. This is the simplest looping statement provided by JavaScript. The while loop loops through a block of code as long as the specified condition evaluates to true. As soon as the condition fails, the loop is stopped. The generic syntax of the while loop is:

JavaScript While, Do-While, For and For-In Loops, In JavaScript, this solution is provided in the form of something known as a loop. There are three kinds of loops we can use to repeat some code: for loops; while  JavaScript while loop. The syntax of the while loop is: while (condition) { // body of loop } Here, A while loop evaluates the condition inside the parenthesis ().

while loop in JavaScript, while (condition) statement condition An expression evaluated before each pass through the loop. If this condition evaluates to true, statement is executed. When condition evaluates to false, execution continues with the statement after the while loop. statement An optional statement that is executed as long as the condition evaluates to true.

  • You have to put the i x nombre = in quotes and add a , after the first i and after the =
