I'm new to R and I'm just trying to get through some tutorials.

When I try installing ggplot2, I get this error.

Error in library(ggplot2) : There is no package called 'ggplot2'

I tried these in R and RStudio.

install.packages("ggplot2", dep=T)

install.packages('ggplot2', repos='http://cran.us.r-project.org')

remove.packages("ggplot2")

but I get the error

(Error in remove.packages : there is no package called 'ggplot2')

This is what I get from install.packages("ggplot2")

> install.packages("ggplot2")

I removed all ggplot2 files manually then tried to install again. Here's my result.

Problems with loading ggplot2 - General, there is no package called 'Rcpp' library (ggplot2) Error: package or namespace load failed for 'ggplot2' in loadNamespace (j <- i [[1L]], When I start to install "ggplot2" pacakages following this command on R studio 1.1.442, it gets installed but with following information shown in the console: > library("ggplot2") Error: package or namespace load failed…

Steps

 1. Go To Tools

 2. Install Packages

 3. In Packages Text Box Type ggplot2

I can't load "ggplot2" in my library in R version 3.4.3, library("ggplot2") Error: package or namespace load failed for 'ggplot2' libPaths()), versionCheck = vI[[j]]): there is no package called 'Rcpp' In @daattali Sorry I didn't notice this in the volume, I have one thing to add, that hopefully will fix @Haycen 's problem.. For some reason that isn't clear to me, even if I call the Rscript that works fine (ie I'm NOT running the lines in the shell but rather doing Rscript $< to call a .R file) the installed package will NOT be found.

Try launching R client directly from command prompt, then issue the instruction: install.packages("ggplot2", lib="C:/Users/YourUser/Documents/R/win-library/3.3")

Setting up RStudio, Congratulations! You have downloaded R and RStudio. This is an R library(Ggplot2). Error in library(Ggplot2) : there is no package called 'Ggplot2'. Hopefully Dear all, after deinstallation of RStudio and xQuartz, I (re-)installed R 3.5.3, RStudio 1.1.463 and xQuartz. I then opened RStudio and now I hope that this is what it is suppose to look like when a package was successfully installed and loaded (sorry for being such a newbie):

Setup Instructions, If you receive an error message when trying to install any particular package, please make note of library(dplyr) library(readr) library(tidyr) library(ggplot2) says something like: Error in library(somePackageName) : there is no package called First, install R, RStudio, and the core CRAN packages as described above. Hello, I am presenting problems with ggplot2. I receive the following notice all the time: library (ggplot2) Error: package or namespace load failed for 'ggplot2' in loadNamespace (j <- i [[1L]], c (lib.loc, .libPaths ()), versionCheck = vI [[j]]): there is no package called 'Rcpp' I use RStudio version 1.1.423. I'm giving my first raids on R Gracias

Chapter 1 Getting Started with Data in R, Error in library(ggplot2) : there is no package called 'ggplot2' it means that you didn't successfully install it. This is an example of an “error message” we the above code first checks to see if ggplot2 package is loaded, if not it tries to load the apckage. If it cannot load the package, it then tries to install the package and all of package its dependencies.

ggplot2, ggplot2 is a system for declaratively creating graphics, based on The to aesthetics, what graphical primitives to use, and it takes care of the details. The easiest way to get ggplot2 is to install the whole tidyverse: install.packages("tidyverse") library(ggplot2) ggplot(mpg, aes(displ, hwy, colour = class)) + geom_point() Thanks guys for the help. I did try install.packages("caret", dep="TRUE") which installed the package digest, then tried install.packages("ggplot") which installed ggplot with the dependency gtable but still had some missing packages.
