Dear Android Developers I am a creating cv Android app but there are empty after TextView inside CardView how can I get rid of that space

below my xml code where I have implemented CardView as parent child as LinearLayout.

Change layout height of card view to match_parent

To use CardView in pre-lollipop device and lollipop device, you have to use android.support.v7.widget.CardView but this gives an issue. In this tutorial i will  In the image above, I have shown the issue with a red circle. I wanted to draw a line (by using View tag). It seems that it does not match with the parent view. It got an extra space on the edge. It is because for the elevation and corner properties of the cardview. But if you run it on a lollipop device.


reduce marginTop of your text View remove the Space tag also and also reduce margin of your imageView
